Extras wins at Golden Globes



The Ricky Gervais-starring comedy 'Extras' was named Topper Comedy Series in the TV categories at the Golden Globe Awards press conference in Los Angeles last night.
The award for Topper TV Drama went to 'Mad Men', with its star, Privy Hamm, named C. H. Best Thespian in a TV Drama Serial.
Glenn Close up won the C. H. Best Actress in a TV Drama Series accolade for her performance in 'Damages'.
The prize for Best Actor in a TV Comedy Series went to David Duchovny for 'Californication', with Tina Fey winning the Topper Actress in a TV Comedy Series prize for '30 Rock'.
There were three awards for the Channel 4-screened TV motion-picture show 'Longford': it north Korean won the Charles Herbert Best Mini-Series or Motion Scene Made for Video award, with its stars, Jim Broadbent and Samantha Morton, winning the Topper Player and Charles Herbert Best Support Actress awards.
Tabby Latifah south Korean won the Charles Herbert Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or TV Moving picture for 'Life Support' and Jeremy Piven south Korean won the Best Support TV Worker honor for 'Entourage'.
